Usually, black soldier fly larvae require various pre-treatments before drying, mainly cleaning. Many customers often encounter impurities stuck on insects, which cannot be cleaned using simple screening equipment.
Here I would like to share with you some knowledge about BSF larvae cleaning, hoping it will be helpful to everyone.
1. The total moisture content before pretreatment is controlled within 40%. If the raw material moisture is relatively large, various screenings cannot be performed.
2. 1-2 days before harvest, reduce the amount of feeding.
3. Increase flip ratio and frequency
4. You can even add sawdust, etc. appropriately.
